#1 Auburn Tigers

The Top Ranked Auburn Tigers without Cam Newton will hope to repeat in 2011.

With the NFL labor dispute threatening the 2011 NFL season, college football is gearing up and is ready to satisfy your football fix.  Although summer seemingly just begun, many college football programs are beginning their summer camps in preparation for the first game in early September.  It’s hard to believe that is only a month and a half away!

The 2011 NCAA Football season should be another exciting one as prominent football programs Nebraska and Colorado changed conferences.  The Nebraska Cornhuskers decided to leave the Big 12 and join the Big 10.  This could not have come at a better time for the Big 10 as annual BCS contenders Ohio State’s future is up in the air following the NCAA investigation of Jim Tressel and Terrelle Pryor deciding not to come back.  The Colorado Buffaloes also decided to join the ranks of the PAC 10 and will be sure to form some natural rivalries with schools on the west coast.

To no ones surprise, the 2010-11 BCS National Champions Auburn Tigers are the preseason favorites this year.  It will be interesting to see if they can overcome the loss of the dynamic Cam Newton and continue their unbeaten streak.  If they have trouble adjusting, the TCU Horned Frogs will have a shot at the BCS crown.  The would be quite a feat for a team from the Mountain West. PAC 10 powerhouses Oregon and Stanford, along with LSU and Alabama of the SEC also have strong teams heading into the season and could contend for a National Championship.  The rest of the Free Ticket Classifieds Blog top 10 is below:
