Rangers-ALCS-Tickets

High-fives all around as the Texas Rangers advance to the 2010 ALCS against the New York Yankees

Cliff Lee threw another October gem carrying the Texas Rangers into the AL Championship Series for the first time in team history. The Rangers ended up beating the Tampa Bay Rays 5-1 on Tuesday night in a decisive game 5. Cliff Lee was lights out, striking out 11 in a six-hitter effort for his second victory over Rays ace David Price in the series.  Congratulations to the Cliff Lee and the Texas Rangers.

With the big game 5 win, the Texas Rangers will advance to face the wildcard winning New York Yankees.  The Rangers, who won the AL West will have home field advantage.  The ALCS will begin with game 1 on Friday October 15th at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.   Game 2 will also be in Texas, while games 3, 4, and 5 will be held at Yankees Stadium.  If necessary, the American League Championship series will come back to Arlington Texas for games 6 and 7.  The winner of the ALCS will earn a birth in the World Series.  While the Yankees have the most World Series titles of any MLB team, the Rangers will be looking for their first title.
