Tickifieds Top 10 Weekly Searches – Five in a Row for 1 D

One Direction TourOk, this is getting a bit ridiculous.  How many weeks in a row can One Direction absolutely dominate the search rankings?  Now that Justin Bieber has completely fallen off the map, there are no contenders in sight to knock 1D out of the top spot.  This week marks 5 in a row for the British boy band…is it time for college football yet?

A good sign that football is not too far away is the fact that WVU came in at #6 and the SF 49ers  came in at #8 on the list this week.  Other than those two sporting events, the results this week were dominated by music festival and country music.
1.  One Direction

I’m boycotting 1 Direction this week….

2. KattFest

The 2012 Katt Fest lineup includes Hinder, Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Puddle of Mudd, P.O.D., Red, Crossfade, and Drive A….no wonder this event comes in at #2 this week.

3.  Aerosmith

Steven Tyler is back on the road with Aerosmith.  Their concert at Milwaukee Summerfest on July 7th is particularly popular this week.

4.  Sugarland

The Sugarland 2012 In Your Hands Tour is kicking strong despite falling 2 spots from last week.  Sugarland should be a mainstay on the list.

5.  Eric Church

Eric Church keeps the country theme this week going strong.  His  2012 The Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour has been a huge success.

6.  West Virginia

Fans in Morgantown are excited about the WVU Football season.  What’s not to like about a top #10 team moving into the Big 12?

7.  Country Throwdown

With a lineup that includes Gary Allan, Rodney Atkins, Justin Moore, Josh Thompson, Eric Paslay, and Sunny Sweeney it no wonder Country Throwdown it generating quite a bit of interest.

8. San Francisco 49ers

The San Francisco 49ers almost made it to the Super Bowl last year.  Fans are assuming they will take the next step forward and are securing their seats early to stave off inflated tickets prices.

9. Bunbury Music Festival

Festival season is certain upon us with the 2012 Bunbury Fest taking place on July 13th – July 15th.  The 2012 Lineup includes Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, Jane’s Addiction, Airborne Toxic Event, Minus the Bear, OAR, and many more!

10. Country Thunder

Country music continues to shine this week with another music festival.  The 2012 lineup includes Toby Keith, Blake Shelton, Jason Aldean, Brantley Gilbert, Luke Bryan, Big & Rich, Steve Holy, Easton Corbin, Hunter Hayes, Wade Bowen, and many more!

This top 10 list is compiled from internal search data from Tickifieds.com and organic traffic from search engines.  Search terms are ranked by using a combination of both sources of search data.
