2012 Houston Rodeo Lineup Revealed

jason aldean at the houston RodeoThe 2012 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (better known as the Houston Rodeo) will take place from February 28th through March 18th at Reliant Stadium in Houston Texas.  The Houston Rodeo is the world’s largest rodeo and every year millions of people attend the one of the many concerts, livestock shows, horse shows, and even eating contests.  Last year, the Rodeo drew nearly 2.3 million people- 244,184 alone came to check out the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest.

The biggest draw each year are the concerts.  The Houston Rodeo draws some big names from pop, hip hop, latin, rock, and of course, country music.  This year is no different as the 2012 Houston Rodeo Lineup is chock-full of headlining acts.

The Houston Rodeo will kickoff with opening act Alabama on Tuesday night February 28th.  Other highlights include the genre busting Kid Rock, Lady Antebellum, John Legend,  Luke Bryan, Enrique Iglesias, Blake Shelton, Zac Brown Band, Miranda Lambert, The Band Perry, Jason Aldean, Train, and Brad Paisley.  The Rodeo will conclude on Sunday March 18th with a very special performance by country music legend Alan Jackson.

Top 10 College Football Bowl Games 2009-2010

Today is college football’s Championship Saturday and football fans around the nation will be eagerly awaiting the outcomes of the Big 12 and SEC Championship games .  The action that takes place on the field today will determine which teams are going to the BCS National Championship game and what teams end up going to the BCS Championship game will influence who will be invited to all the other major bowl games.

Most in the ticket industry know that the College Football Bowl game season is one of the biggest sales opportunities of the year.  This year will be no exception as popular teams like the Texas Longhorns, Florida Gators, and Alabama Crimson Tide will all be vying for a birth in the championship game.

While the BCS National Championship game will surely be a big seller, the following Top 10 bowl games should also attract eager ticket buyers (predicted teams in parentheses, bold denotes confirmed):
