Mark your calenders, the 2012 BCS Selection Sunday Show will take place on 12/2/2012 at 8:30 PM (ET). This is the biggest day of the year for many event ticket marketers!
This time of year, the event ticket market is typically dominated by college football. While demand for college football remains fairly strong (see Notre Dame), the biggest surge comes after the bowl bids are officially announced and fans can start making travel plans. This year the BCS will host its “Selection Show” on Sunday December 2nd, 2012 from 8:30 to 11:00 PM (ET) on ESPN. While there is certainly a lull in college football ticket purchases, now is the time to start posting ads and doing SEO in anticipation of this coming Sunday. To help with your marketing efforts, it’s always a good idea to check out CBSSports.com’s bowl projections to see who is likely to be playing in what bowl games. Of particular interested and the teams in bold which have officially accepted bowl bids. By carefully monitoring these projections you can get a jump start on the competition!
