Taylor Swift New Tour Dates 11

On Black Wednesday, Taylor Swift announced her upcoming her 2011 World Tour dates.  This is the much anticiapted tour following her success with her album, Speak Now, which was released on October 25th, 2010.  This is an exciting album due to the fact that 20-year-old country songstress wrote the album completely by herself in Arkansas, New York, Boston and Nashville with Nathan Chapman serving as co-producer.  Speak Now sold more than 1 million copies in its debut week, marking the first million-plus launch since Lil’ Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter III’ in June of 2008, according to Billboard.  According to Entertainment Weekly, Swift also brought country music its first million-plus sales week since November 1998, when Garth Brooks took ‘Double Live’ platinum within its first seven days of release.  She is a true gem in the Country music genre.

For the remainder of 2010 and the first quarter of 2011, Ms. Swift continues her tour in Asia and Europe.  Taylor kicks off her American leg of the tour on May 27th in Omaha, Nebraska.  This is quite the impressive tour with extensive stops to many cities.  She’s bound to be by a city near you.
